MISSION STATEMENT
The Health, Physical Education and Recreation Department prepares prospective health educators, coaches, and recreational leaders who plan to continue their education beyond the two-year college level.
DEPARTMENT GOALS
The Goals for the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Department are:
- to enhance one's quality of life through physical activities
- to enable one's knowledge about health issues in the Mississippi Delta and throughout the US.
- to enhance one's knowledge about the career opportunities available in Health, Physical Education and Recreation.
