SOCIAL SCIENCE, EDUCATION & PSYCHOLOGY
Mission Statement:
The Department of Social Science, Education and Psychology’s mission statement is to provide the first two years of college/university courses in each of the majors that fall under the direction of the Social Science Department’s umbrella of majors.
Department Goals:
- To incorporate technology in every course that is taught in the Social Science Department.
- To create a department of specific exit exam for Social Science majors to complete and pass prior to graduation.
- To increase the number of education majors who take and pass PRAXIS I prior to graduating from CCC.
- To encourage students in exercises to build their reading comprehension skills.
