Nomination of Officers 2014-2016

 

The Coahoma Community College National Alumni Association is now accepting nominations for the 2014-2016 slate of officers:

President
Vice President
Executive secretary – secretary for the alumni executive board
Recording secretary – takes minutes at the regular national alumni meetings
Treasurer
Chaplain
Parliamentarian
Historian

Deadline for receiving nominations is July 26, 2013. The election of officers will take place during the CCC Fall National Alumni Association Meeting which will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in the CCC Gallery located in the B. F. McLaurin Vocational Bldg. on campus. (Homecoming weekend)

Clarksdale, MS  38614. When nominating, please include the nominees name, current mailing address, email address and phone number.

Criteria:

  1.  Nominee must be current with CCC National Alumni Annual Membership Dues, or be a life member with the National Alumni Association.
  2. Nominee must be current with local chapter dues where a chapter is established.
  3. Nominee must be a graduate or have completed atleast one year of attendance at Coahoma Junior/Community College.

Membership Dues:

CCC National Alumni Association annual membership dues-$20.00 (expires yearly in Dec.)
CCC National Alumni Association annual membership will increase to $50.00 effective January 2014.
CCC National Alumni Association Life Membership-$200.00 effective thru December 2013.
Effective January 1, 2014, life membership will increase to $250.00 per person.
Effective January 1, 2014, life membership for married couples will be $200.00 per person.

Establishing a local chapter:
Any group desiring to activate a local alumni chapter, they must have five alumni members in attendance in a meeting and the following positions must be filled. Chapter president, vice president, secretary, treasurer and a chaplain.  Other positions may be assigned at a later date. Once established, the chapter president must  submit the following information by email to rhanfor@coahomacc.edu. The CCC National Alumni President will then make contact with the newly elected president.
