Letter from the CCC Alumni President
Dear Fellow Alumni and Friends,
On behalf of the alumni, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the Coahoma Community College Alumni Association. Our organization exists to unite alumni and magnify their impact for the betterment of the college.
I am deeply honored and humbled to have the opportunity to serve as the 2014-2015 President for the National Alumni Association and look forward to working with alumni, our new president, Dr. Valmadge T. Towner and the Board of Trustees.
Membership in most alumni associations offers a rich array of benefits, but joining this association represents more than a transaction; it is a chance to become engaged with the Tiger community. Each and every time I return to the college for an event, I am reminded that Coahoma Community College has a base of passionate, loyal and committed alums! I employ you to give back to an institution that has given us so much by simply sharing your time and resources. Our service today will provide opportunities for the future leaders of tomorrow.
As we continue to foster this partnership with our alma mater, the alumni association is devoted to engaging more of our former graduates. You can play a crucial role in helping us translate our incredible alumni loyalty and pride into increased membership. So, if you are not already a member, we urge you to join immediately. If you are a member, we welcome your involvement.
There is much work to be done and it is not limited to increasing alumni membership and participation, establishing chapters locally and nationally or enhancing the current chapters. We are committed to increasing the number of scholarships awarded, recruiting and retaining students that exemplify the mission and values of Coahoma Community College and supporting stakeholders in moving this historical college to national prominence.
So that we may add you to our database, please take a moment to provide us with your contact information to include your name, class year, phone number, e-mail address and mailing address. This information should be sent to Ms. Rita Hanfor at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I look forward to meeting as many of you as I can over the next year. More importantly, I look forward to joining efforts with you to make Coahoma Community College "The Academic Choice"
With Tiger Pride
