NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA) (Course: CEI-111A)

This certificate program is designed to offer practical experience in nursing assistant training to aid the participant in finding employment as a healthcare team under the direction of a healthcare professional. Students must submit a completed application by mid August. For additional information call (662) 621-4687.

Students who apply for the Nursing Assistant Program must meet the following requirements:

  1. Completed application
  2. Official copy of high school transcript or Official GED passing scores
  3. Copy of ACT and/or TABE scores
  4. Copy of Drivers License
  5. Social Security Card
  6. Immunization Record showing
    1. MMR
    2. Hepatitis B series (can be completed after entry to program)
    3. Varicella or chicken pox shot or titers (can be completed after entry to program)
    4. 2-step TB skin test

*Criminal Background and Drug Screen will be required upon admission
