Bachelorís degree in Business or a related field

Provides full range of administrative and support services to assigned supervisor(s) and department(s)
Duties: Organizes and manages the day-to-day activities of an assigned office to ensure efficient and effective office operations; coordinates communications; assists the supervisor(s) with administrative matters

Performs a variety of duties independently in support of functions delegated to assigned supervisor; interprets and applies rules and regulations as appropriate

Receives and transcribes dictation of letters and memoranda, including material confidential in nature; prepares correspondence independently or from oral instructions

Maintains current budget information; monitors budget expenditures; assists in budget preparations
as assigned

Utilizes the computer to perform computer functions including, but not limited to, word processing charts, spreadsheets, as well as other software applications

Initiates and answers telephone calls; screens and directs calls and visitors to appropriate personnel; schedules and confirms appointments

Responds to requests for information from students, staff, and the general public regarding the institutionís programs, policies, procedures, and regulations

Maintains a variety of files and records including some confidential in nature

Schedules meetings and appointments for assigned administrator; prepares agenda items for meetings; maintains records, attends meetings, and prepares minutes for distribution to appropriate personnel

Receives and routes mail to the appropriate personnel; orders, issues and maintains departmentís supplies and forms
