Successful applicants must meet or exceed the following requirements:
1. Must be able to work flexible hours
2. Must be in good physical condition
3. Must be able to pass a criminal history check (convicted felons need not apply)
4. Must be able to complete twelve (12) weeks of training at a certified Law enforcement Training Academy.
5. Officer who cannot complete the training will be terminated
6. Must have at least a high school diploma or GED equivalent
7. Must be at least 21 years of age
8. Must provide three letters of recommendations
9. Must have a valid driverís license
10. Must be able to pass a certified volunteer firefighters
11. Must be of good moral character

The Coahoma Community College Department of Safety has openings for three (3) full-time police officers. Interviewees will be selected from the applications.
