Nine Outstanding Athletes Sign with Coahoma

CLARKSDALE – Nine outstanding high school athletes have signed letters of intent to play football at Coahoma Community College in the 2013 fall season, according to Freeman Horton, CCC Athletic Director, and Head Football Coach.

“We look forward to having these standouts join us as CCC Tigers,” Horton commented Thursday.

The athletes include Devin Booker, 6’0, 185 lb safety/wide receiver and Cornelius Williams, 5’9, 185 lb. wide receiver, both from Clarksdale; Ladarius Walker, 5’8, 180 lb wide receiver of Shelby; Damico Ewing, 6’0, 180 lb wide receiver and Devin Williams, 6’3, 250 lb defensive end, both of Craigmont.

Tacovis Lee, 6’1, 265 lb defensive lineman of North Panola; Terrence Turner, 6’2, 230 lb defensive end and Willie Cosby, 6’1, 285 lb defensive lineman, both of Charleston High; and Corey Spires, 6’1, 285 lb defensive tackle of Yazoo.
