CLARKSDALE – How to prepare in advance for the ACT and what to expect on test day are only a few of the questions to be answered Saturday Oct. 6 at Coahoma Community College’s free ACT Workshop, says Christopher Dixon, manager of CCC’s Career Services and Placement Center.

Scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Magnolia Room on the second floor of the Student Union Building, the workshop is being labeled by Dixon as “Your Smart Choice for College.”

“The workshop is designed to help students prepare for college entrance examinations and also offers suggestions about re-taking the ACT,” continues Dixon.

Sponsored by CCC’s Division of Student Affairs and Support Services, the workshop will provide refreshments.

To register, call Dixon at 662-621-4674 or 662-621-4155 or email: cdixon@coahomacc.edu
