SENATOBIA — With the season winding down, and just three dates remaining on the Coahoma Community College baseball schedule, the Tigers have yet to notch a win in the MACJC North Division falling to the Northwest in a conference twin bill Tuesday evening.

CCC committed five errors during the Game 1 (11-4) and Game 2 (8-2) losses and the Rangers took advantage of five walks and six hit batsmen by the Coahoma starting pitchers.

Offensively, Demario Brown, Hudson Ross and Jonathon Oglesby each picked up two hits on the day to lead the Tigers — one of Oglesby’s was a solo homerun over the leftfield wall in Game 1, he also drove in two runs.

With three series left in the season, the Tigers will welcome Itawamba to the Eddie C. Smith Sportsplex on Friday afternoon for a two-game set beginning at 1 p.m. They will close out their season next week traveling to Booneville (April 23) and hosting Holmes (April 26).
