New $3.7 Million Dorm for Women Under Construction at Coahoma
Dr. Vivian Presley, president of Coahoma Community College, Dr. Greg Hudson, left, vice president of student affairs, and Jerone Shaw, special projects coordinator, check on the progress of CCC’s new women’s dormitory under construction. The $3.7 million project is a two-story, 56-bed facility and will include a director’s suite and private bathrooms with each dorm room, according to Shaw. ‘The 14,200 square-ft facility is scheduled for completion in fall 2013 and should be open for the 2014 spring semester,’ says Shaw. Roy Collins Construction of Cleveland is the general contractor.
