Quality Enhancement Plan Questionnaire
Hello, Coahoma Community College stakeholders! The Quality Enhancement Team needs your help! The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) has adopted new accreditation standards called the Principles of Accreditation. One of the new requirements of the Principles is for institutions to develop a Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP).
The QEP is a carefully designed and focused college-wide initiative that is related to enhancing student learning. While many aspects of re-accreditation focus on past and present initiatives, the QEP is a “forward-looking” endeavor that converts the re-accreditation process into an on-going activity rather than an episodic event that takes place every 10 years. We need broad-based involvement in the development of the QEP; therefore, we are soliciting ideas for a topic from students, faculty, staff, alumni, board members, and community representatives.
We hope that at CCC, the QEP will be an opportunity to enhance the quality of our education by focusing on an issue that we consider important to improving student learning. The first step in the development process at Coahoma Community College is to identify potential QEP topics.
